Thank you so much to everyone who has purchased a book at our book fair - we raised over £700 to spend on books, which is fabulous! Books will be bought for the class libraries and the children will be involved in choosing these, so we can't wait to get shopping! The 4 lucky children who had their names pulled out have received a text this morning and will choose their free book on their way into school today. If you have ordered a book and not paid for it, please can you collect and pay for it at the end of the day today in the KS2 playground from Mrs Mancey. Thank you once again for your support!

Y3 children who took part in the Royal Ballet performance at Cast had an amazing time.

We are delighted to announce that Sandringham Primary School has achieved the School Games Gold Mark Award for the 2021/22 academic year.
The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.
Our sporting achievements this year include:
All children benefiting in learning from an experienced sports coach.
Daily active lunchtimes with a variety of activities on offer.
Taking part in the FA #LetGirlsPlay initiative.
Getting back to taking part in competitions with other local schools.
With a total of 126 young people competing in local inter-school competitions this year, we are extremely proud of our pupils for their dedication to all aspects of school sport, including those young volunteers, leaders and officials who made our competitions possible.
As part of our application, we were asked to fulfil criteria in the areas of participation, competition, workforce and clubs, and we are pleased that the hard work of everyone at our school has been rewarded this year.
A special thanks to:
Mrs Shepherd - PE Co-ordinator
Mrs Maddox - Playground leader
We look forward to applying once again in 2023!

Congratulations to our Year 4 cricket team - they displayed excellent behaviour and their teamwork was outstanding. One observer fed back that they had never seen such kindness, respect and support from a group of children towards one another.

Huge congratulations to Miss Johnson for her wedding on Saturday. She leaves us as Miss Johnson and will return as Mrs Johnson so there will be no confusion!
