Return to school information

When should my child return to school?

Further to Government information and previous letters, you will be aware that school will reopen to all pupils in September. With the exception of Nursery and Reception children, whose transition into school will be phased over the first few weeks, I am delighted that we will be welcoming back all children on a full-time basis from Wednesday 2nd September.

Staggered School Times

We have strict staggered times for drop-off and collection. We apologise that we are unable to accept early arrivals or late pick ups. We are currently unable to safely run Breakfast Club or after school clubs.

Drop-Off and Collection

There is a one way system for movement through the site at the start and end of the school day. We recognise that dropping off at different points and different times may be difficult, so have waiting areas and a ‘loop’ to return to other drop off points. We are committed to reviewing these arrangements before half-term and relaxing them once it is safe to do so.

School Office

The school office is closed with the exception of signing in medication. Class staff may be unable to deal with individual queries in person. If you have any messages to pass onto your child’s class teacher, please telephone or email the office or use your class email. Please do this the day before if possible.

Curriculum

Due to the changes made to the school day and to support children’s return, we have also revised our curriculum. A typical day will include:
