Sarah is a nurse manager in the NHS, focusing on community care, development of services and staff and change management. Sarah has been a governor at Sandringham for 8 years, originally undertaking the role as a parent governor to gain a better understanding of the importance of curriculum and education and how she could advocate the views of parents and be part of developing the school. Sarah’s daughter has now left Sandringham but she has maintained her role as a governor as she firmly believes in the school and that it is working towards it's vision to be outstanding in every way. Sarah has been vice chair for 18 months with a special interest in leadership and Maths.

She has been vice-chair for several years and has recently been elected as chair. She enjoys all aspects of school governance and has a special interest in staffing matters and the Early Years.

Lynne Morris
Local Authority Representative

Lynne Morris has worked in education for over 40 years, teaching in a variety of primary schools in the Doncaster area, including two years at Sandringham Primary school. It was because of this happy association that she accepted a place on the governing body where she has a particular interest in monitoring and tracking the progress of vulnerable groups of pupils in school. As a teacher with a life-long love of literacy she is also the governor for English. Her motivation for being a governor is to support and help Sandringham school provide the very best opportunities for all the pupils in school, so that they can achieve their full potential.
Bev Morton

Bev currently works in the School office and has been a member of Sandringham staff for nearly 18 years. Previously she worked in Banking for 18 years and took a break from her time in school, working for a local community drug and alcohol agency. This is when Bev became a parent governor to ensure she kept in touch with all the latest developments in school. Her time as a governor, parent and member of staff has given her an overall insight into school life especially whilst living and working in the local community. Bev enjoys all aspects of school governance and has a special interest in resourcing and the school budget.
