Sandringham's Special Visitor

posted 12 Dec 2016, 02:28 by Sandringham School
Pupils and families at Sandringham Primary School have recently welcomed a very special visitor.

As part of the festive season, the Friends of Sandringham School, a group of parents and volunteers, had given up their time to transform The Hut into a winter wonderland, hoping that Santa would stop by.  Father Christmas did indeed take time out of his preparations for Christmas Eve and was so impressed by his temporary grotto that he stayed for 3 days!

"It was lovely to welcome so many well behaved children," Santa commented, adding that the excellent work by the Friends had persuaded him that he should visit.

In a statement, school staff confirmed that Santa had wished everyone a Merry Christmas and that he hoped to return the following year.
