We are pleased to announce that our school has been selected to become an ambassador school for Thrive. We have been running Thrive sessions at Sandringham for a year and we have four trained Thrive Practitioners: Vicky Ward, Emily Smithard, Mandy Kean and Jo Howe.

Thrive is a specific way of working that helps to develop social and emotional well being, enabling children to engage with life and learning. Thrive supports them in becoming more self-assured, capable and adaptable. It can also address any troubled or troubling behaviours, providing a firm foundation for academic attainment.  Positive relationships are at the heart of Thrive. We use these relationships along with art based activities to give children key experiences at each different stage of their development.

As a Thrive ambassador school, we will be invited to share our good practice with other schools across the country. This will involve sharing our Thrive journey so far, presenting case studies and taking visitors on a tour of our school - demonstrating how Thrive is used across the school. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the wonderful work that goes on at our school.
