This week you have been reading about Bill, a 15 year old in WWII. For your task today I would like you to use a range of sources to find out what it would have been like. You can take notes during your research and then create a summary to share your learning. A range of sources means use the internet to look at text, videos or photos that tell you about the life of a child in WWII. I've attached a PPT and some example sources we were going to use in class. Here are some useful links - https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01043x5 - An Evacuees Adventure https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0127hqg - Living through the air raid There are lots more resources available. Your final task is to reflect on your learning. During WWII, children were evacuated to the countryside to keep them safe. During 2020, we were told to stay at home to keep us safe. Which way would you prefer to be kept safe? Can you explain your answer?
