Australia Day

Today is Australia Day - the official National Day of Australia. Celebrated annually on 26 January, it marks the anniversary of the 1788 arrival of the First Fleet of British Ships and the raising of the Flag of Great Britain at Sydney Cov!

The day is celebrated with family gatherings, picnics, barbecues, parades and fireworks in Australia!

I thought it would be a good idea to try some different activities, to learn more about Australia!
    - Find out about different animals that live in Australia
    - Learn about Australian landmarks ( Sydney Harbour Bridge / Ayers Rock )
    - Find Australia on a Map, how long might it take to get there
    - Colour/draw an Australian flag
