Happy Friday

Hello to you all

I hope you are all well and have been enjoying the sunshine in your garden or on your daily exercise.

It is 4 weeks since we have been in school. It seems strange to not have seen lots of you for that long and more. I am in school next week with the children of key workers and I am looking forward to seeing them all.

I realised that in those 4 weeks lots of you will have had your birthdays. In school we would have sung happy birthday to you and shared in your happy news. I am sorry we have missed that and I want to wish everyone who has had their birthday a big "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!"

This weekend it's my turn to have my own lockdown birthday and then Mr Campbell's next week too. A busy birthday time in Year 6.

Joe and I have been busy today making my cake for tomorrow. We will be starting the day with birthday cake breakfast and then I've been told we have to have a chilled out day which means tackling a new Lego game on the Switch.

Of course it is chocolate with Malteasers - as if I would make anything else. It is covered in white chocolate stars. There are lots of stars which can be used to celebrate all the birthdays we have missed celebrating together while we've been at home.

This got me thinking about all the events we will have missed and all the news you will all have to share when we return to school. I am looking forward to hearing them all. If you want to share things sooner, remember we are just an email away if you want to contact us to share your news.

Have a great weekend
