Hello Year 4, I hope you have all had a wonderful Easter with your families! The weather has been beautiful over this last week and I have been trying to spend as much time in the garden as possible. I thought it would be a great opportunity to do some gardening. Last time I went to the shops for my essentials, I picked up a few packs of seeds and have now planted them into pots to watch them grow. We have planted a lot of pretty marigolds, sunflowers and even some spooky pumpkins! They have already grow quite a bit in the last seven days, it's amazing! I have attached some pictures to show you. Additionally, in October I planted a conker to see if it would grow into a sapling and it has! I have re-potted him into a nice, green pot. I was trying to think of a name for him, so if you have any great ideas I would love to hear them! What have you been up to in your gardens? I have seen some beautiful pictures of chalk artwork, some easter eggs hunts as well as a few people practising dance routines. Stay safe and enjoy the sunshine, Miss Richardson :) |
