Hi Year 4, How are you all? I hope you and your families are well. I've had a quiet week and have been doing things like work on my laptop, sewing and going for walks. Imogen has emailed a lovely poem that she has written. It made me smile and I thought it would make you all smile too so here it is: I will put in the box, The elegant wings of an exquisite phoenix, A mysterious footprint of an active Yeti, An orange ogre with orange toes.
I will put in the box, The first fallen silver snowflake, An exploding volcano, And a colourful rainbow.
I will put in the box, Love from 2 teenagers, Tears from a crying baby, And a sweet smile of a courageous child.
I shall surf in my box, Talk in New York, And be a police officer.
My box is fashioned with ice and gold steel, tree carvings, And beautiful brown paint that is faded.
By Imogen Sutton. I hope that you all have a great weekend!
