In regards to the recent and devastating events in America that are making the news lately, you might be finding it difficult to have those conversations with your children. I do believe that it is never too young to talk to children about identify if done in an age appropriate way. A great way to start these discussions with younger children is to read books which allow children to see different identities. This way you can talk about similarities and differences and discuss ways to treat each other. This in turn, allows for children to develop an informed view of the world.
