IMPORTANT! MUST READ! Return to school information!

Hi everyone,

So for those parents who have chosen for their child to return to school we are expecting to return on Monday 29th June.

As you know, myself and Mrs Jenkinson have been very busy preparing our foundation stage unit for this return. We have also been planning a ‘recovery curriculum’ which means we will still have structured adult-led learning times and provision time (play) but we are placing a much greater emphasis on the emotional health and well-being of the children.

We want the children to be as prepared as possible for their first day back and therefore we are asking for your help to do this.

We would really appreciate it if you could open and read the document below with your child. It contains lots of information for you and them to explain what the ‘new normal’ at school will be like.

There are lots of pictures of the classroom where you will see that we have tried to keep the areas as inviting and interesting for the children as possible. However, we have changed the layout of the rooms  and amount of resources available to ensure we can keep things clean and promote some social distancing.

You can find lots more information about health and safety and new routines by going to this part of the school website…

If your child is not returning to school then we will still give them a quick call to catch up and we always love to see photos of their learning which you can send to our email. Home learning will also still be posted every Friday and you should do your best to ensure your child is accessing at least some of the content and activities.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us at
