Terrific Tuesday

Good Morning Everyone,
I hope you are keeping well. It's quite cloudy today and we're expecting rain for much of the week. I thought you might like to use that as an interest or starting point for play/learning when it starts to rain.
A quick search found these ideas.
Rainy Day Outdoor Activities for Kids
  • Hop, Skip, and Puddle Jump. Peopleimages / Getty Images. ...
  • Color Run. Make your own rainbow: Take sidewalk chalk outside during or after a rain. ...
  • Float Your Boat. ...
  • Drip, Drop, Click. ...
  • Make Mud Pies. ...
  • Build a World. ...
  • Gauge the Rain. ...
  • Make Beautiful Music.
Here is one of my favourite outside learning websites with some great ideas.

If you haven't checked this website out yet, with home- learning suggestions , it has a link to Hungry Little Minds which has videos and app suggestions for play/learning for children up to 5, which I thought looked very interesting. It includes ideas for younger brothers and sisters too.

Don't let the rain bring despair! Have fun,
Good health and best wishes,
Mrs Faulkner
