Freezing Friday!

Good morning everyone,
I hope you are all continuing to keep well and that your families are enjoying good health too!
Well done for getting to the end of another week. It's been lovely to talk with some of you again and I look forward to catching up with more of you today. I have talked to many of you around your concerns with sending your children back to school and I wan't to reassure you that you are not alone in this. We have delayed the return to ensure a smaller risk to both children and staff which is good for us all. All the safety guidelines are in place so we're just waiting for the go-ahead for Nursery, which is likely to be the beginning of July. I spoke to you yesterday about transition, which is now planned for September when hopefully we will be enjoying more flexibility with our social distancing and the groups of people/children we can meet. We shall just have to wait and see!

So It's the day we've all been waiting for. Which film are we going to watch tonight? What sort of pizza? Who's eaten all the pop-corn?
It's hard to choose isn't it? These ideas may help.
Why not suggest everyone pick their favourite film and then ask them to give three things they like about it. You could have a vote.
You might like to say I'm going to let ........ have their choice tonight because they have worked hard/ helped out/ stepped up and been thoughtful or kind.
You might like to say tonight's film will be chosen by the person who shows me great............
Have a rota so everyone can read who's turn it is to choose the film.

Have a lovely weekend, wrap up well, hold on to your hat and don't forget your brolly!
Good health and best wishes,
Mrs Faulkner
